OUR STORY
In 1954 a small group of committed followers of Jesus began to gather together to serve God in Oroville. Eight years later FCC was officially born with 11 members.
For over 60 years FCC has sought to be a light in the Oroville community and beyond. As of July 2019 we are under new Pastoral leadership and we are excited to contintue to build and expand on the foundation of love and service that has been built here. We exist so that all may know the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Chris & Kaydi Hemberry
- Lead Pastors -
Chris and Kaydi Hemberry began serving at Foothill Community Church in July, 2019. Chris and Kaydi have been married 20 years and have 3 daughters Nataleigh, Halle & Lauren. The Hemberry family looks forward to serving the community of Oroville and Butte County.
Audrey Safrit
-Children’s Pastor-
Audrey graduated from Northwest University in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Church and Ministry Leadership. In February 2025, she stepped into the role of Children’s Pastor, driven by her love for both kids and Jesus, and a passion to help them grow together in faith.
Scott Coffer
- Youth Director -
Scott has been in youth ministry since 1992 and took the lead role of Youth Director at FCC in 2015. Scott helps lead and facilitate ministry to 7-12 grade students here in the Oroville area. Discover all Scott has going on with youth on social media . @TheForgeStudentMinistries.
